Biosecurity for People Travelling
As travelling becomes easier, so the spread of pests and diseases becomes correspondingly more likely. We all have a responsibility to ensure that we minimise the risks of spreading pests and diseases from one place to another. This is called 'Biosecurity'.
At JBF we take biosecurity very seriously because we have seen how easily pests and diseases can be spread from animal to animal, area to area, country to country. Local hygiene is as important as national and international hygiene. In our work with the cattle of Delhi, we try to make sure we don't contribute to the spread of pests and diseases - you can do your bit by helping to prevent infection when you're travelling from one place to another, either within the same country or from one country to another.
