This is the seventh year the IFAW Animal Action Awards have been run by IFAW. Robbie Marsland, UK Director of IFAW, said: "All of these winners are remarkable for their dedication and commitment to animals. In a world where too many animals suffer, it is truly inspirational to hear their stories of compassion. They are real animal heroes and thoroughly deserve this special public recognition."
Animal Planet star Shauna Lowry said:" Without people like this so many more animals would suffer and die. They are at the front line of caring for pets and wildlife and make a massive difference to animal welfare"
All of the JBF Trustees and supporters would also like to congratulate Jonny Krause for his well deserved award, and for his continued commitment to the street cattle of New Delhi.
